People who switch from an oral steroid to a nasal steroid, such as Flonase, may need to be followed closely by a doctor for a few months.
Also, people who take nasal steroids may be more susceptible to infection; therefore, people who have recently had chicken pox, measles or a skin ulcer should talk with a doctor before starting Flonase. For such individuals, this may not be the right time to begin using this medication.
Does Flonase Interact with Food, Drink or Any Other Medications?
It is always a good idea to tell a doctor and pharmacist about all of the medications being taken, whether prescription, over-the-counter, vitamins or natural/herbal products.
There are no foods or drinks that are known to interact with Flonase.
