Flonase is an anti-inflammatory nasal spray that is used to relieve nasal allergy symptoms from year-round or seasonal allergies, such as those triggered by pollen, dust, mold and pet dander.

Flonase is also approved for treating year-round, non-allergy nasal symptoms triggered by such things as strong smells, harsh chemicals or changes in humidity, temperature and air pressure.

The active ingredient in Flonase is fluticasone propionate.
